MICHELANGELO BURRATA CHEESE


Original Italian cheese fresh in brine with a delicate, mild taste and having the form of an elastic mozzarella bag filled with a semi-liquid mixture of tiny pieces (also mozzarella) and cream. After the bag is cut, the velvety, creamy, sweet content of the cheese comes out slowly, as if lazy, tempting with flawless white color and dense texture. Burrata is often called Mozzarella’s “younger sister”. Produced from pasteurised cow’s milk. It has a wide culinary use: it is served with tomatoes, basil, pasta or as an addition to salads and crispy bread. It can also be served with basil sauce, a little mint, lemon juice and olive oil.
