TALEGGIO DOP CHEESE


Soft, creamy synthetic cheese with an intense aroma. It was already known in ancient times, and its name comes from the Bergamo Valley, where it was created. Thanks to the weekly brushing with water and salt, it takes on a unique color, and despite the strong smell, it is distinguished by a mild, slightly sweet and slightly fruity taste. This cheese matures from 6 to 10 weeks and is protected by the DOP (Denominanzione di Origine Protetta) designation, which means that it has a Protected Place of Origin Certificate.
